Changes ahead in 2019
From our fam to yours, I hope everyone is having an amazing 2019! Pictured here (from left to right), Menokh the Red Panda, Ochik the Black Lab, Midnight the Blue Cat, Drake the Fox, myself (in human form), Nova the Husky, and Metro the Mutt.
Our focus this year is going to be on making the highest quality costumes we can, and pushing the capabilities of what we’re able to produce. It’s because of this that we are getting away from giving deadlines. The fact is, it’s incredibly difficult to create wearable works of art; sometimes it goes faster than we expect and sometimes not. Moving forward we will be letting commissioners know how many are in front of them in our queue and we will give them our best estimate for what part of the year we’ll begin construction on their fursuit. There’s been so many times where we wanted to do more but had a hard deadline.
2018 was a really rocky year with family emergencies and utilities issues around our workshop shutting us down for weeks at a time. We’re going to be working through our queue as quickly as we can and hopefully this year goes more smoothly.
Here’s to 2019! Whether it’s choppy seas or smooth sailing, we’ll get through it together!
